Upon giving an update on the sales of Spears’ latest album, ‘Chart News‘ received a response from Braxton’s longtime friend/collaborator Tiyon Mack, questioning the authenticity of the figure provided.
Minutes later, the Grammy-nominated Braxton responded to her pal’s tweet, ruffling the feathers of Britney’s fans when she suggested that 241,000 may have been the album’s chart position…and not its current sales figure.

Singles sales are irrelevant or “don’t count” huh? If it didn’t then I’m sure a lot of artists and producers today wouldn’t be happy to hear that their songs are doing so well with the GOP. I don’t get where you guys get your logic from but selling albums is just selling albums just as selling singles is selling albums. A lot of these artists who have sold more than 70 million with their discography came out in a time where the internet wasn’t prevalent in day to day society as it is now, meaning that it’s more easier to acquire albums illegally than it were 20-30 years ago. Not taking that away from any legend or some people who are managing to sell more than 10 million copies but let’s not pretend like these sales that The pop girls are pulling now are basic. The problem is that most of you are putting down each other’s fave when your fave is not doing any better.
